I saw this on my cousin’s wife’s facebook. The fact that this doesn’t factor in inflation bugs the shit out of me. Also, I am pretty sure that the data the graphic maker used was flawed, because the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan cost a ton of money that would be added to our debt.

If you are going to complain about the National Defense Authorization Act,
you better have read the frickin’ bill. It only says that the military can detain covered persons and then defines covered persons as people who had a hand in 9/11 or are members/supporters of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. It specifically says that US citizens and legal US residents are exempt, meaning WE CAN’T RANDOMLY BE DETAINED FOR NO REASON. Stop calling the bill ‘fascist.’
I was just reading some comments on a news article discussing the money that is currently in the market.
And someone seriously commented that if we wanted there to be more available money, that the mint should print more money. Pretty sure that will just lead to inflation… People really need to understand how this stuff works…

I think it is fair to test people on welfare for drug use. I mean, their welfare check comes from tax dollars. Tax dollars should not be used to fund someone’s drug addiction. If you want to do drugs, pay for it on your own dime, not mine.
I think that wealthy people should have to pay the same tax percent as everyone else. They shouldn’t get special treatment. It isn’t fair to other hardworking people.
